My card today is for our new challenge over at Simply Magnolia
we want to see some embossing on your creations
For my DT card I used both Heat embossing and dry embossing. My papers are Maja Design called Coffee in the arbour. For the dry embossing, I used my Happy Birthday folder from Cuttlebug along with some silver foil paper. I them applied some black paint, white paint and some Chipped Sapphire distress ink. To get the acquired look you need to apply the paint and sponge some off before it dries, I also did some sanding to the surface to antique it to achieve a vintage look.
I created this card for my sister, we will be celebrating her birthday on April 6th, so I went along with a party theme for her. I paired Elephant Show Tilda with Time to Drink Champagne Edwin and added Tilda`s table. I heat embossed some Fran-tage in Chunky white and silver.
Skin: E13, E11, E00, E000, R20
Tilda`s hair ; E57, E55, E51
Edwin`s hair / Table : E49, E57, E35, E53, E51
Blue: BV04, BV02, B60
White: E81, W00
Black: W7,W5,W3,W1,W00
Yellow: Y21, W00
Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, I added some silver, white and pearl strings and feathers.
The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock
I also created a little frame with some left over foil strips, i rubbed a little powder on it
to create a blackboard look.
